Guar (Cyamopsls tetraonolobus) is an annual plant belonging to the vast family of the Leguminose. The choice of guar as a tropical plant presents a real potential development that springs from its seeds whose average composition is Hydrocolloids 23%, Fats 40% and Proteins 34%.

An examination of these values demonstrates unambiguously the interest, which lies in the cultivation of this plant. At present, the use of guar seeds as a source of proteins and fats is purely local and is still at a stage involving research and industrial development.

The Guar is semi arid zone crop and the production of guar maximum in India in the world. The seeds are separated from their external envelope (Husk) inside one oven and then mechanically dehusked. The Split is refined to different purity levels as per buyer’s requirements. This is the basic raw material for Guar Gum Powder production & supplied to the manufacturer of the Guar Gum Powder.

It is completely a natural product and does not contain any added flavours or preservatives. The Guar seed is the basic Raw material. The skull of the seed is removed to obtain inner part which is a white to crèmes amorphous (Guar Split).
